Here is a big news for the liquor lovers of entire districts of Chhattisgarh, all the liquor shops of the state will be closed on 15th August 2024. In compliance with the letter issued by the Excise Commissioner Chhattisgarh, Collector Surguja has declared 15th August as dry day on the occasion of Independence Day in the district.
During this time, all the country, foreign liquor shops, attached premises, FL8 and liquor warehouses of the district will remain completely closed. Sale, transportation and serving of liquor will be completely closed on this day. He has given instructions to ensure strict compliance of this order.
Dry day declared on 15th August on Independence Day in Gaurela Pendra Marwahi
Collector and District Magistrate Leena Kamlesh Mandavi has declared Independence Day on 15th August Thursday as dry day in the district under the Excise Policy. During the dry day, all the foreign liquor shops FL-1 (Ghg) and FL-1 (Kh-Ahata) operating in the district have been ordered to jeep close completely . During the said period, the transaction of liquor will be completely prohibited. This order has been asked to be strictly followed.
