Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that Chhattisgarh along with other states will become Naxal-free by March 2026

Raipur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s press conference has started . Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, CM Sai were also present with him. While talking to journalists, Amit Shah has made a huge announcement.

He said that, by March 2026, other states along with Chhattisgarh will become Naxal-free. The whole country will be Naxal-free. After the new government came to power in Chhattisgarh, better work was done on the Naxal front. I heartily congratulate the CM and the Home Minister, the Home Minister went to Hidma’s village and gave Ayushman cards to the people. This was made possible by all the security forces, this is a big victory.

Moreover Union Home Minister Amit Shah has praised Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and State Home Minister Vijay Sharma for the excellent work being done against Naxalism. I thank Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy CM Vijay Sharma for a big success in the Naxal case.

A large number of Naxalites have been neutralised. New camps have been opened. When the Deputy CM goes to Hidma’s village and gives Aadhar cards to the villagers, we feel relieved in Delhi. During the press conference, on the question of going to Hidma’s village, Home Minister Amit Shah said that if the State Home Minister takes me, I will go.

Home Minister Amit Shah said that for the first time after independence, tribals have used the right to vote in six villages of Sukma. Today, the soldiers of the security forces are contributing to the development of the region along with providing security. Home Minister Shah said that more than 1500 mobile towers have been installed in Bastar to provide connectivity. Road connectivity has been improved.

A post office has been opened every three kilometers. Facilities like banks, ATMs have reached the interior areas for the first time. ITIs have been opened for skill development. 164 Eklavya Vidyalayas have been opened. Home Minister Shah said that the state government and the central government will take initiative to make literate those who have remained illiterate due to left wing extremism. Let us inform you that on August 16, the state’s Deputy CM Vijay Sharma had reached Poorvarti, the village of Naxalite commander Hidma in Konta. Here he met the villagers and soldiers. This is the first time after independence that a deputy CM has visited the village of a Naxal commander.

During this, Deputy CM Vijay Sharma also met Soyam Durva and his family. Deputy CM Vijay Sharma visited the area on a bike. The Deputy CM told the villagers that they will get employment, children will get good education. If roads are built in the villages, ambulances will reach directly to the house. Hospital facilities will be available. For this, peace is needed in the area. Your cooperation is needed. The Home Minister went to different areas in Purvati village. Met people. Got to know the ground situation of the Naxal-affected area. spoke to the soldiers posted in the camp. Encouraged them and also met the villagers in Palanar.
