Raipur: Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowermenti Ramdas Athawale made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday July 1, 2025 at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan. Chief Minister Sai gave him a warm welcome by presenting a shawl, coconut and a memento.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai had a detailed discussion regarding the schemes run by the state government for socially and educationally backward classes, elderly and differently abled people. He informed about the efforts of the state government towards the effective implementation of centrally sponsored schemes.
Union Minister of State Athawale praised the social welfare programs being run by the Chhattisgarh government and said that the state government is playing an active role in taking the schemes of the Center to the grassroots level. He said that the Central and State Governments will continue to work dedicatedly for the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society in coordination. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap was also present on this occasion.
