Raipur: Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur on Friday October 31, 2025 . The Chief Minister extended a warm welcome to the Union Minister, presenting him with a traditional Bastar Art memento and a shawl symbolising Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage.
During the meeting, the both leaders discussed a wide range of issues related to tribal development in the state. Chief Minister Sai briefed Union Minister Jual Oram on the ongoing initiatives for the holistic development of tribal communities, highlighting efforts in healthcare, education, and employment generation. He emphasised that Chhattisgarh’s tribal culture is deeply rich and vibrant, and the state government is committed to its preservation and promotion through sustained policy interventions.
Minister Oram commended the Chhattisgarh government’s efforts in improving the living standards of tribal communities and assured continued support from the Union Ministry to strengthen these initiatives further.
The meeting was also attended by Tribal Development Minister Ramvichar Netam, Forest and Climate Change Minister Kedar Kashyap, MLA Kiran Singh Deo and Purandar Mishra.
