US President Donald Trump rejected the Wall Street Journal’s report regarding approval of attack on Iran. He said that no decision has been taken on this yet and people are just speculating.

US President Donald Trump has dismissed a Wall Street Journal report that claimed he had personally approved a plan to attack Iran but delayed giving final approval so that Iran would abandon its nuclear programme.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social, The Wall Street Journal has no idea what I think about Iran! Earlier, Trump had said on Wednesday June 18, 2025 that he has still not been able to decide whether to attack or not. He told reporters, let’s see what happens. Everyone is asking me about this. But I have not taken any decision yet.

US President Donald Trump has rejected a report published in an American newspaper regarding approval of attack on Iran. Trump said that he has not taken any decision on this yet and people are only speculating.

According to news agency Reuters, on whether America will join Israel’s bombing of Iran’s nuclear sites, Trump told reporters outside the White House on Yhursday June 19, 2025 that he has not taken any decision on this yet. He said, I can do it, I can not do it. Meaning no one knows what I am going to do.

According to the Wall Street Journal report, Trump told senior aides that he has approved the plan to attack Iran, but he has withheld the final order to find out whether Tehran has abandoned its nuclear program or not.

When Trump was asked whether Israel’s action could topple the Iranian government, he said, “Of course, anything can happen.” Referring to the Fordo nuclear center, he said, “We have the ability to destroy it, but that does not mean I will do it.”
