Sakshi Malik in Politics: Election activities have intensified in Haryana at this time. Voting will take place here on October 5. The results will come on October 8 along with Jammu and Kashmir. After the announcement of the election dates, all the parties have entered the election fray. Meanwhile, former female wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia have joined the Congress on Friday September 6. Meanwhile, a statement has come from former wrestler and Rio Olympics bronze medalist Sakshi Malik, who supported these wrestlers in the protest against former BJP MP and then head of the Wrestling Federation of India Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

Haryana : Sakshi Malik has dismissed reports of joining politics like fellow Olympians Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat and said her focus is on making India No. 1 in sports. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Sakshi wrote, “I would like to inform all my media friends that I am not contesting elections, nor am I associated with any political party. My entire focus is on making India No. 1 in sports. My dream is to make India at least 50 Olympic medals. The country has given me a lot and my life is dedicated to the country.
