Raipur: On the occasion of the successful completion of two years of the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Jagat Prakash Nadda, delivered a clear message from the stage at the Janadesh Parab (Mandate Festival) held at the Khokhrabhatha Police Line ground in Janjgir-Champa district, highlighting the state’s achievements, public welfare initiatives, and future direction.

The program, which began with Vande Mataram and the state anthem, reiterated the commitment to public trust, pride, and development.

Union Minister Nadda said, “We did what we promised – and we even did more than what we promised.” Highlighting the two-year report card, he said that the government has taken sensitive and impactful decisions in the interest of farmers, women, youth, and laborers, the effects of which are visible at the ground level.

He said that the payment of more than ₹ 3700 crore to farmers in the first month of the government’s formation and the direct transfer of ₹ 1.25 lakh crore in the last two years is proof of the respect given to the farmers. More than 5 lakh beneficiaries of landless agricultural laborers have been provided with assistance of ₹ 10,000 each, strengthening their socio-economic security.

Union Minister Nadda described steps such as a transparent recruitment system for the youth, the recruitment process for 32,000 posts, transparency in the Public Service Commission, the establishment of Nalanda Library, and the modernisation of ITIs as the “foundation for future development.”

He cited the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Mahtari Sadan for women’s empowerment, the benefits to 70 lakh families under PM Janman, and the empowerment of the tribal community through the Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Upliftment Scheme as examples of the government’s sensitivity.

The Union Minister stated that Chhattisgarh’s railway budget has increased 22 times, 32 Amrit Stations are being developed to world-class standards, and schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala, Jal Jeevan Mission, and PM-Kisan have provided widespread benefits to the common people.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated the people of Chhattisgarh on the completion of two years of the current government, stating that the government is continuously working to live up to the trust of the common people. Development has gained momentum through numerous schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Landless Agricultural Labourer Welfare Scheme, and Charan Paduka Yojana.

Chief Minister Sai clarified that significant progress has been made in breaking the back of Naxalism and achieving the goal of a Naxal-free Chhattisgarh.

A coordinated strategy on all three fronts – security, rehabilitation, and development – ​​has paved the way for peace and prosperity.

He said that through the Vision Document 2047, a roadmap has been laid out to make resource-rich Chhattisgarh a strong, self-reliant, and developed state, so that future generations can inherit a state of opportunities.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that the Janadesh Parab (public mandate celebration) in Janjgir-Champa is a historic moment for the district. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantees are being fulfilled one by one in Chhattisgarh. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that 18 lakh houses have been sanctioned since the formation of the government, and all development works are being expedited, providing direct benefits to the common people.

Finance Minister and Minister in charge of the district, O.P. Choudhary, in his welcome address, said that the government has strengthened democracy, public trust, and good governance. Through the Vision Document, Chhattisgarh is setting new standards of development.

Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Singh Deo congratulated the people on the completion of two years of the government, saying that new dimensions of development have been established during this period, and the benefits of the schemes have reached the last person.

At the event, Union Minister J.P. Nadda released a report card highlighting the achievements of the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai during its two-year tenure, along with a book titled “Two Years of Service,” which presents the government’s accomplishments over the past two years.

During the program, guests were traditionally welcomed and felicitated with gifts of Kosa silk and bronze artifacts, highlighting the unique identity of Janjgir-Champa. A video showcasing the achievements of the past two years was also screened.

Union Minister J.P. Nadda and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited various departmental development exhibitions. They gathered information about schemes at several stalls, including those related to agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, education, women and child development, water resources, energy, and cooperatives. Chief Minister Sai interacted directly with beneficiaries, listening to how the schemes had brought positive changes to their lives. Keys were handed over to beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana) during the program.

On this occasion, public representatives urged officials to ensure the effective implementation of the schemes and that the benefits reach the last person.

During the event, Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam, Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb, and Member of Parliament from Janjgir-Champa constituency, Kamlesh Jangde, addressed the gathering, stating that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the state has witnessed continuous development over the past two years.

On this occasion, Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Ministers Dayaldas Baghel, Kedar Kashyap, Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Lakshmi Rajwade, Tankram Verma, Gajendra Yadav, Guru Khushwant Saheb, Rajesh Agarwal, other MPs and MLAs, public representatives, officers and employees, and a large number of dignitaries were present.
