There is an atmosphere of tension in the area since the murder of a youth named Kunal in J Block of New Seelampur on Thursday April 17, 2025 evening. Zikra’s name has surfaced in Kunal’s murder. It is being told that Zikra was recently released from jail. She wants to call herself a lady don. She posts her photos and videos waving weapons on social media. She has also written Lady Don on her hand.
A 17-year-old boy was brutally murdered in New Seelampur area of Delhi. An alleged lady don named Zikra has been arrested on the charge of murder. Police have also detained three other youths. There is tension in the area since the murder of Kunal, who lived in J Block. People tried to block GT Road demanding the arrest and hanging of the murderers, but the police removed them. Local people have put up posters outside their houses saying ‘Hindus are migrating and houses are for sale’ and have appealed to the government for help in this matter.

North East District Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashish Mishra said that the police have intensified the investigation. Initial investigation has revealed the involvement of Sahil and his sister Zikra in the murder. It is said that both the siblings run a gang together. There are more than 15 people in the gang. Recently, the police arrested Zikra under the Arms Act after weapons were recovered from her house. She was recently released from jail. She wants to be called a lady don. She posts her photos and videos waving weapons on social media. She has also posted videos of herself during police custody on social media.

Kunal’s mother said- Zikra-Sahil killed him
Kunal’s mother alleged that Zikra along with his brother Sahil killed her son. It is alleged that Zikra had a dispute with his neighbor Lala. Lala is absconding from his house. Mother alleged that her son was killed because he belonged to another community. Kunal was killed on Thursday April 17, 2025 evening around 7:30 pm when he went to buy milk from a nearby shop. The family consists of father Rajveer, mother Praveen, three brothers Golu, Lucky, Virat and sister Vandana. Kunal’s father drives an auto. Kunal used to work in a shop located in Gandhi Nagar. Kunal was the only one taking care of the family due to his father’s illness.

Kunal’s family said- son had no enmity with anyone
Kunal’s mother and father both said that their son had no enmity with anyone. Father Rajveer said that he saw four-five people attacking his son with a knife. They immediately took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Regarding the reasons for the murder, the mother said that the accused took out someone else’s enmity on my son. She had nothing to do with it. The mother said that Zikra wanted to get close to drug smuggler Hashim Baba through Zoya. Zoya used to help her get weapons. But the police had recently arrested Zoya.

Demand to implement Yogi model in Delhi
People protesting against Kunal’s murder were also carrying posters demanding implementation of Yogi model in Delhi. Local people allege that children of their community are being murdered here every day. So far seven people have been murdered. People wanted to block GT Road, but the police did not allow them to do so. After that they started sloganeering in J Block itself. Police force was deployed in view of the tense atmosphere.

People from other communities tease girls
Local people said that boys from other communities harass people from their community. They tease girls going to school. Despite complaints, no one listens. Minor boys from other communities also carry pistols and knives. People’s mobile phones and money are often snatched here. In such a situation, there is no other option but to sell their house and leave.

Hindus are being forced to flee
Many leaders including Patparganj MLA Ravindra Negi met the victim’s family and consoled them and asked them not to leave their homes. United Hindu Front’s International Working President and BJP leader Jai Bhagwan Goyal said that Hindus of Seelampur’s J Block are being forced to migrate by creating an atmosphere of terror and fear. He assured strict action from the Delhi government and police administration. He appealed to the Chief Minister and Prime Minister to implement Yogi’s bulldozer model in Delhi as well.
