How can India reach the final?

To reach the final of the WTC 2023-25 cycle, India will have to avoid defeat in the next two matches. Even if India can register one draw and one win in the remaining two matches, its hopes will remain. After the Gabba Test being drawn, India can now get a maximum of 138 points and its PCT can reach 60.52 if it manages to win the Melbourne and Sydney Tests against Australia. If the Rohit Sharma-led team manages to win the next two matches, it will win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 3-1.
