Lucknow : Massive promotions have been announced for IAS officers in Uttar Pradesh. The Departmental Promotion Committee ( DPC) has issued an order to give promotion and selection grade to 154 IAS Officers
Out of the eight IAS officers of the year 2000 batch, seven will be made Principal Secretaries. The name of one officer was not considered because a departmental inquiry was going on against him.
Let us inform you that 51 officers of the year 2012 batch were given Selection Grade after 13 years of continuous service, while 38 officers of the year 2016 batch were given Junior Grade after nine years of continuous service. An agreement has been reached to give administrative pay scale and grade pay of 6600 to 17 IAS officers of the year 2021 batch who have served for four years. The promotion orders of all these will be issued on January 1, 2025.
A proposal to promote 40 officers of 2009 batch from Special Secretary to Secretary was discussed. These include Subhra Saxena, Suryapal Gangwar, Aditi Singh, Dr. Rupesh Kumar, Anuj Kumar Jha and Mala Srivastava.
The officers who got promotion from this batch include Dr. Nitin Bansal, Masoom Ali Sarwar, Vijay Kiran Anand, Bhanu Chandra Goswami, Prakash Bindu, S. Rajlingam, Vivek, Bhupendra S. Chauhan, Vaibhav Srivastava, Ajit Kumar, Brijesh Narayan Singh, Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Ramakant Pandey, Anurag Patel, Anand Kumar Singh II, Ram Kewal, Rajesh Kumar II, Markandey Shahi, Avinash Krishna Singh, Rajesh Prakash, Pramod Kumar Upadhyay, Jagdish, Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Mishra, Dr. Anil Kumar, Indra Vikram Singh, Dr. Hiralal, Shailendra Kumar Singh, Rakesh Kumar Singh II, Amar Nath Upadhyay, Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, Sahab Singh, Manvendra Singh, Atal Kumar Rai, Narendra Prasad Pandey.
In fact, a DPC was held in Lucknow last Tuesday December 17,2024 under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh to give promotion, selection grade and junior administrative pay scale to 154 IAS officers. Apart from four names, consensus was reached on all others. Out of the 8 IAS officers of the year 2000 batch, 7 will be made Principal Secretaries. Departmental inquiry is going on against one officer, so his name was not considered in the meeting.
