Raipur: The bypoll for Raipur City South Assembly is to be held on November 13 , 2024 in the capital, and for the election, checking is being carried out continuously by setting up check points in suspicious places , in this series, two days before the voting, i,.e on Monday November 11, 2024 Rs. 27 lakh in cash has been seized at SST (Static Surveillance Team) point Bhatgaon. The accused car driver was carrying the cash in a bag without any valid documents. The Purani Basti police station and the SS Team have seized this cash. At present, the matter has been handed over to the Income Tax Department.
Actually this whole matter is of Purani Basti police station area. Keeping in mind the bypoll Raipur City South Assembly, S.S.T point has been set up in Bhatgaon. During this, checking was carried out in the presence of Executive Magistrate Rajkumar Singh Paraste. While checking, car having number CG 08 AR 8800 was stopped and searched. During search found that driver of the car was carrying cash amounting to Rs 27 lakh 10 thousand in a black bag.
