48th Rawat Nacha Festival: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attends event held at Lal Bahadur Shastri School ground Bilaspur …

Rawat Nacha is a symbol of cultural unity – Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur: The 48th Rawat Nacha Festival was held in a grand manner at the Lal Bahadur Shastri School grounds in Bilaspur. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai arrived at the Lal Bahadur Shastri School grounds to participate in the festival.

Upon arrival, the Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by the festival’s patron, Kalicharan Yadav, and committee officials, garlanding him. The Chief Minister and guests then formally inaugurated the event by garlanding a photograph of Lord Krishna.

Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav, Takhatpur MLA Dharmjeet Singh, Bilha MLA Dharamlal Kaushik, Beltara MLA Sushant Shukla, Chandrapur MLA Ramkumar Yadav, Kota MLA Atal Srivastava, Masturi MLA Dilip Lahariya, and Mayor Pooja Vidhani, along with numerous public representatives, dignitaries, and a large audience, were present at the event.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai arrived on stage in traditional Rawat Nacha attire and encouraged the performers. He said, “The Yaduvanshi community is the community where Lord Krishna was born. Chhattisgarh’s dance and singing tradition is a living symbol of our cultural prosperity and unity.”

The Chief Minister also blessed the Yaduvanshi community and dance troupes by singing the couplet “Tel Phool Mein Laika Badhe…”

Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu described Rawat Nacha as an unparalleled display of the bravery, culture, and art of the Yaduvanshi community and extended his best wishes to everyone by singing couplets from the stage. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said, “Maintaining this glorious tradition for 48 years is a testament to the community’s unity, discipline, and cultural pride.” He extended his best wishes to the entire community and dance troupes.

Bilaspur MLA Amar Agarwal, in his address, said, “Rawat Nacha is Bilaspur’s 48-year-old glorious cultural heritage, which is being continuously preserved by the committee. If any community is constantly striving for the well-being and harmony of society, it is the Yadav community.” He extended his heartfelt wishes to everyone for the festival.

School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav said, “It is a privilege to have the Rawat Nacha Festival held on the sacred land of Bilasa. Members of the Yaduvanshi community go from door to door wishing well for the entire community.” He thanked the Chief Minister for attending the event.

Festival patron Dr. Kalicharan Yadav, in his welcome address, highlighted the glorious tradition of Rawat Nacha and said that for the past 47 years, the Rawat Nacha Festival has remained a strong symbol of the culture, respect, and cultural identity of the Yaduvanshi community.

Chief Minister arrived among the dance troupes in traditional attire

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai arrived among the Raut Nacha troupes in traditional attire and danced with them to the resonant beats of drums, boosting the artists’ morale. Praising the troupes’ captivating performances, he said that cultural heritage like Rawat Nacha will continue to inspire future generations and keep our traditions alive forever, CM Sai added.
