Rajya Sabha elections: Notification issued for 6 vacant seats of Rajya Sabha, elections will be held on December 20 and the result will be declared on the same day

New Delhi : Rajya Sabha elections: The Election Commission of India has also issued a notification for 6 vacant seats of Rajya Sabha. According to the notification, voting will be held on 20 December for 6 vacant seats of Rajya Sabha. The election results will also be declared on the same day.

When will the results of Rajya Sabha elections be declared

Let us inform you that the Election Commission has announced voting for 6 seats of Rajya Sabha on December 20 , 2024 . While the election results will also be declared on the same day i.e. on December 20 , 2024 .

Let us also inform you that the tenure of Rajya Sabha members is of 6 years, but the tenure of Lok Sabha members is of five years only . Rajya Sabha, “The upper house” of Parliament, is never can be dissolved but Lok Sabha can be dissolved if  if the President feels that no viable government can be formed after the resignation or fall of the previous government.
