CM Sai starts the Nikshay Niramaya program, transferred 1 thousand rupees online to the beneficiaries

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai started the state level Nikshay Niramaya Chhattisgarh campaign, which will run for 100 days, by pressing the remote button in the AIIMS auditorium of Raipur. On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai also started the online transfer of Rs 1000 to be given to the beneficiaries every month under the Nikshay Poshan Yojana by pressing the remote button. The Chief Minister also administered the oath of Nikshay Niramaya to all the people present on this occasion. Under the Nikshay Niramaya Chhattisgarh program, patients of TB, leprosy and malaria will be identified in the state for the next 100 days and their treatment will be ensured. The scheme also includes health checkup and treatment of the elderly of the state.

In his address on this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that along with developed India, the target has been set to make Chhattisgarh a developed state by the year 2047 and health services in the state will play an important role in achieving this goal. He said that the first year of our government’s tenure is being completed on December 13. In the last 12 months, we have given top priority to the expansion of health services and facilities in the state. Health and education are two subjects which are directly linked to the development of the state and the nation. When every citizen is in good health and gets good education, they will be able to give their maximum contribution to the development of the nation.

Chief Minister Sai said that along with the field staff of the health department, all the doctors have always discharged their responsibilities with promptness in the health campaigns being run in the state. Despite the lack of means of transportation in many remote areas, the staff of the health department has provided their services to the interior villages. Our doctors and health workers have undertaken long treks and even crossed rivers and streams to reach many remote villages. He said that in reality, this spirit of you people is no less than the spirit of any army soldier. He said that the Nishchay Niramaya Chhattisgarh campaign will play an important role in achieving the goal of getting rid of diseases like TB, leprosy and malaria. CM said .

On this occasion, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said in his address that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the state is moving towards Niramay Chhattisgarh. He said that health facilities are being continuously expanded in Chhattisgarh. For this, super specialty hospitals are being started, new hospital buildings are being constructed to reduce the pressure of patients on big hospitals like Mekahara and doctors are being continuously recruited. He said that new records are being set in the state regarding health facilities. The Health Minister praised the field staff, especially the Mitanin sisters, for improving health facilities in Chhattisgarh and congratulated them. On this occasion, the Health Minister thanked the start of providing funds to the beneficiaries of the Nikshay Poshan Yojana through online DBT.

During the Nikshay Niramay Chhattisgarh Abhiyan program, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai provided nutritional food, hearing aid, walker and walking stick to the beneficiaries with his own hands. Along with this, the Chief Minister also felicitated doctors, social workers and Mitanin sisters who did excellent work for health services. On this occasion, Arang MLA Khuswant Saheb, Raipur City South MLA Sunil Soni, Special Secretary of Health Department Priyanka Shukla and MD NHM Vijay Dayaram K. were also present.
