Civil Defence Mock Drill: Mock drill will be conducted once again in four states of the country bordering Pakistan. Preparations for this have begun.

Civil Defence Mock Drill: Preparations are being made for mock drill once again in the country. Mock drill will be held in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab and Jammu Kashmir bordering Pakistan. During this time, people have been instructed to remain alert. India had carried out Operation Sindoor just before the mock drill last time. After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Army destroyed the terrorist hideouts.

The central government had announced mock drill in the country on May 7, 2025 amid the ongoing tension with Pakistan. After this, terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir were targeted. Now once again mock drill is going to be held in the country. There is a border of about 3300 kilometers between India and Pakistan. Pakistan borders Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Mock drill will be held here.

Pakistan had targeted the areas adjacent to the borders of these states

In fact, after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025 India destroyed 9 terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and PoK. In retaliation, the Pakistani army carried out drone attacks in Indian areas, in which 300 to 400 drones were sent. However, the Indian air defense system effectively neutralized these drones. This attack was carried out by targeting many border areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Punjab.

Due to the attempted attack with drones and missiles, blackouts and sirens started ringing in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan. After this, India’s retaliation created panic in Pakistan. A ceasefire was initiated by Pakistan at the level of talks between the military officials of both the countries, after which the ceasefire was announced.

Shahbaz Sharif admitted the attack

Later, Pakistani PM Shahbaz Sharif also admitted the Indian attack on Noor Khan Airbase. Sharif made this statement during his speech at a grand ceremony called Youm-e-Tashakur (Thanksgiving). Sharif had said, “On the night of 9 and 10 May, around 2:30 am, the army chief called me and told me that India had attacked us with its ballistic missiles. One missile fell on the Noor Khan airbase and some other missiles fell in other areas.”
