However, India is adamant on its stand of not opening the agriculture and dairy sectors completely for America, along with this, India has also demanded more access to labor-intensive industries. Let us tell you that America wants India to open its agriculture and dairy market for the US, so that American products related to this sector can get a big market like India. However, the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not at all ready for this demand being made by America and according to the latest update, it remains firm on its stand. Let us tell you one more thing here that India imposes 100% on some American agri products and America is demanding to end it. This is because if this happens, Indian farmers will suffer losses and they will not get the right price for their produce.
The Finance Minister had also made the picture clear
Earlier this week, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made a big statement regarding the India-US Trade Deal and made the picture and India’s stand very clear. She had said that India would like to make a big and good deal with America, but for this, conditions will also be applicable. In particular, the Finance Minister had emphasised on deep consideration on the agriculture-dairy sector.
