38 ministers, 4 MPs along with Prime Minister Kamala… When the entire cabinet landed at the airport of Trinidad and Tobago to welcome PM Modi

The splendor of Indian culture was clearly visible in the welcome ceremony of PM Modi. The Indian community there welcomed PM Modi by waving the tricolor flag and singing traditional folk songs. This cultural performance was a symbol of the deep historical and cultural relations between the two countries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a two-day visit to the Caribbean country Trinidad and Tobago. This is the second leg of his five-nation visit. He was given a grand welcome at the Piarco International Airport in the capital Port of Spain. He was given a guard of honour here.

Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamala Prasad Bissessar welcomed PM Modi at the airport along with her entire cabinet. During this, 38 ministers of her cabinet and four MPs were present. PM Kamala herself wore a traditional Indian dress, a sari. Many ministers and MPs were also seen with her in Indian attire, which shows the cultural connection between the two countries.

The charm of Indian culture was well seen in PM Modi’s welcome ceremony. The Indian community there welcomed PM Modi by waving the tricolor flag and singing traditional folk songs. This cultural performance was a symbol of deep historical and cultural relations between the two countries.

There was tremendous enthusiasm among the people of Indian origin in Port of Spain about the arrival of PM Modi. People performed traditional dances with the tricolor in their hands. PM Modi also responded to this warmth and greeted the Indian community.

BJP leader Amit Malviya posted that PM Modi was given a historic welcome in Port of Spain. Prime Minister Kamala Prasad Bissessar and the entire cabinet of Trinidad and Tobago were present to welcome PM Modi at the airport. 38 ministers and four MPs welcomed PM Modi, which shows respect for PM Modi’s leadership on the global stage.

Let us tell you that this is PM Modi’s first official bilateral visit to Trinidad and Tobago. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister after 1999. More than 40 percent of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is of Indian origin. The President, Prime Minister and Lok Sabha Speaker here are also of Indian origin. This also makes it special.

While addressing the Indian community, PM Modi also mentioned the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and Maha Kumbh. He also presented a replica of Ram temple and holy water of Saryu river to Kamla Prasad Bisesar.
