Chhattisgarh Tourism registeres an impressive presence in “Connect Bengal -4” (A TAAB Initiative ) in Kolkata!

Raipur: An important link has been added today in the efforts of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to promote tourism in the state. Chhattisgarh Tourism Board made a spectacular presence with its unique and rich heritage at the ongoing Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) in Kolkata.

Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Neelu Sharma invited tour operators and travel agents of Kolkata for tour packages of Chhattisgarh.

On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Neelu Sharma shared the stage with Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah.

Chairman Neelu Sharma while sharing the stage with J & K CM Omar Abdullah. said that it is a matter of pride for us that a “Naturally rich” state like Chhattisgarh has got the opportunity to be represented on this major tourism platform of India. Our state is full of natural beauty, cultural heritage, tribal traditions, historical sites and spiritual energy.

Chhattisgarh is still called ‘Unseen India’ and this is its biggest strength. He mentioned the major tourist places of Chhattisgarh like Chitrakote waterfall, Kanger valley, Sirpur, Dhudmaras of Bastar as well as religious places like Bhoramdev, Dongargarh, Dantewada could be central points of attraction for tourists.

He urged the tour operators and travel agents of West Bengal to include Chhattisgarh in their tourism packages.

Sharma also informed that tourism in Chhattisgarh now has the status of an industry and many schemes have been started to promote “a home away from a home” , resorts, tribal and wellness tourism in the tourism sector. Our aim is not only to promote tourism but also to strengthen cultural exchange and sustainable development.

The Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Sharma also informed that a permanent information center of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has been established in Kolkata, which will provide direct and convenient services to the tour operators and tourists of Kolkata.

On the occasion, 50 tour operators and travel agents of Kolkata were registered.

At this juncture , Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Vivek Acharya, through a presentation in front of the guests and tour and travel operators, elaborately highlighted the beauty, culture and future prospects of Chhattisgarh. He also informed about the decisions taken by the Chhattisgarh government regarding tourism.

Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Neelu Sharma told the media that it is important to know Chhattisgarh to understand India. I request all of you to come to Chhattisgarh, feel the warmth and meet the soul of India.

Deputy Speaker of Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Rajkumari Thapa, Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, Consul General of Thailand, Sripon Tantipanyathep, along with more than 500 members of West Bengal Tour Operator and Travel Agent Association Kolkata were present on the occasion . .
