Ambikapur. Many senior ministers of Congress in Chhattisgarh have faced defeat in the assembly elections. Former food minister of the state and MLA from Sitapur Amarjeet Bhagat, after losing the election, today for the first time addressed the media through a press conference and targeted the state government. He said that there was mutual coordination and a game of ‘mera’ among the Congress leaders due to which they faced defeat.
Congress had to face a huge defeat in the assembly elections held in Chhattisgarh, while BJP succeeded in forming its government in the state with a majority.
Many big leaders of Congress had to face defeat in the assembly elections. More than half a year has passed since the tenure of BJP government in the state, regarding which former Food Minister of the state Amarjeet Bhagat targeted the state government in a press conference at his Ambikapur residence and said that the government has failed in the state on the continuous power cuts, food problems faced by farmers and law and order, and also said that action has been taken against him out of revenge due to unfavourable results in the elections.
Former minister’s pain could be seen during the first press conference after the defeat in the election. Food Minister Bhagat said that Vishnudev government is happy and everyone else is distressed, farmers are not getting urea due to which farmers have to buy urea from the open market at high prices, the government has failed on many other issues including power cuts.
