Pragati College Raipur Celebrates “World Peace Day” with Chhattisgarh Traffic police


On the occasion of ” World Peace Day” , today on Saturday September 21 Pragati College, Raipur in Cooperation with the Chhattisgarh Traffic Police Department made the students aware of the traffic rules.

The traffic Police officials Mr. T K Bhoi and Mr. Sahdev imparted traffic rules education including pedestrian rules, Importance of wearing helmets and seat belts, Understanding traffic signals, and Dangers of speeding. The Students and teachers were also got distributed ICEC In Case of Emergency Cards free of cost .

The traffic cops asked everyone to always give way to the ambulance because a patient is being taken in it. In case of an accident, the police was asked to be informed immediately, they appealed .

The Program was started with welcoming the police officers by the college principal Dr. Soumya Nayyar

At the end of the program, the principal requested everyone to drive slowly and thanked the traffic police officers for giving this lesson and expected more such programs in future too .
