Raipur: In view of the Holi festival, Hospital Superintendent Dr. Santosh Sonkar has issued necessary instructions to all departments, including doctors, nursing staff, and paramedical staff, to ensure smooth medical operations at Ambedkar Hospital.
Keeping in mind possible accidents and emergencies during Holi, Superintendent Dr. Sonkar has issued special instructions for the smooth operation of emergency services.
Due to the government holiday on March 4, 2026 , the Outpatient Department (OPD) will not operate at the hospital. However, emergency services will continue 24 hours a day as usual.
To ensure that patients visiting the Emergency Department do not face any inconvenience, instructions have been given to ensure adequate availability of life-saving medicines in all wards and to keep all medical staff on alert mode.
In view of the festival, the security arrangements in the hospital premises have also been strengthened. Ambulance transport service will be available from Ambedkar Hospital to DKS Hospital to refer patients to the Super Specialty Department at DKS Hospital as per requirement.
The hospital management has appealed to all people to celebrate Holi safely and cautiously and in case of any medical emergency, they have been asked to come to the Emergency Department of Ambedkar Hospital for treatment.
