Cyberabad has become a major employment hub: Modi
Hyderabad: If Telangana is developed, then India will also be developed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said here on Sunday May 10, 2026 .
Speaking after laying the foundation stone, inaugurating and dedicating to the nation multiple development projects worth around Rs.9,400 crore, he said that rail and road infrastructure was developed to a large extent in Telangana in the last few years.
The Centre allocated Rs.5,500 crore for rail infrastructure in the last 10 years whereas only Rs.1,000 crore was allocated in united Andhra Pradesh. The Centre gave five Vande Bharat trains and half a dozen Amrit Bharat trains to Telangana.
Referring to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy ‘s that he does not want to discuss politics, Modi, in a satirical note, said, “As a non political thing, I want to inform him that I am ready to give whatever the Centre gave to Gujarat earlier.”
“However, I want to inform you with the available information that whatever you are getting now, it will become half. You will not reach where you want to. Its better, you join with me (Mere sath Judhe Raho),” he said. Modi said that Cyberabad is playing a key role in the development of the country and added that many big projects were taking off from here.
“Cyberabad has become a major employment hub. It is playing a key role in cyber technology, electricity and EV sectors. It is heartening to see the inauguration of PM Mitra Textile Park in Warangal. It will play a key role in the country’s textile sector. This will create huge job opportunities. The Centre is spending lakhs of crores of rupees on the development of national highways. Telangana is also benefiting from this,” Modi said.
