A delegation from the Chhattisgarh Employees and Officers Federation meets Chief Minister

The delegation expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for announcing cashless medical facilities for officers and employees in the budget.

Raipur: A delegation from the Chhattisgarh Employees and Officers Federation paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday February 25, 2026 in his office at the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.

The delegation congratulated and expressed gratitude for including cashless medical facilities for employees and officers in the state budget.

Kamal Verma, State Convenor of the Chhattisgarh Employees and Officers Federation, told Chief Minister Sai that this decision has brought great relief to the employees and their families. Relieving financial worries in the event of a serious illness is a historic and employee-friendly step.

He expressed that the Federation welcomes this sensitive decision of the government and hopes that employee interests will continue to be prioritised in the future, Kamal Varma added.

Chief Minister Sai stated that our government is committed to protecting the interests of officers and employees. Government employees and their families will benefit from the cashless medical facility. With the simplification of the process of availing medical benefits, the employees will be assured about the health facilities of themselves and their families, which will also have a positive impact on their work quality, Sai noted.

The delegation included Kamal Verma (Provincial Coordinator), Sunil Upadhyay, Jai Kumar Sahu, Rajesh Singhi, Santosh Kumar Verma, Sanjeet Sharma, Devashish Das, Lokesh Verma, Amit Sharma, Sonali Tidke, Akash Tripathi, Jageshwar Bhatt, Deepak Sonkar, Praveen Singh and Nisha Yadav.
