A farmer family troubled by moneylenders mixed poison in cold drink , drank it and three people died

Etawah,: Uttar Pradesh, a farmer family, which was in debt to moneylenders, attempted suicide. The family consumed sulphas tablets mixed in cold drink, after which all of them were admitted to the hospital for treatment, where three people died during treatment. The deceased include a farmer and his sister-in-law along with an innocent girl.

According to the information received, the family had a debt of about Rs 3 lakh and the moneylenders were pressuring them to pay the money. Fed up with this, they took this horrifying step.

According to the father of the deceased, his son had borrowed three lakh rupees from a neighbor on interest, for which he was constantly pressuring him and threatening to kill him, due to which the son mixed poison in a cold drink and made the family drink it. After the incident, Etawah police came into action and took cognizance of the case and took immediate action against the three named persons.
