Sudan: The Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a notorious paramilitary group fighting against the army in Sudan, attacked a market in the city of Omdurman. A statement filed by the Ministry of Health said that the Rapid Support Forces attacked the Sabrin market on Saturday, killing 54 people and injuring at least 158 people.
According to a news agency, after the incident, government spokesman Khalid al-Alesir strongly condemned the attack and said that many women and children were among the casualties. He said that the attack has caused heavy damage to private and public properties. He described the attack as a brutal act against humanity and said that it is a gross violation of international humanitarian law.
