Active participation of youth is being ensured in the progress of Chhattisgarh: “CM IT Fellowship Program” will open the door of opportunities

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government has launched the “CM IT Fellowship Program”, taking a historic initiative towards giving a strong platform to the energy, talent and innovation of the youth. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, this program will become a powerful medium to prepare the technically skilled and promising youth of the state for global competition.

Under this scheme, the youth of the state are being given an opportunity to do M.Tech in futuristic subjects like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-NR) located in Nava Raipur.

This course has been prepared in line with the Digital India Mission and the new education policy, in which special emphasis has been laid on innovation, research and practical training along with technical education.

Under this scheme, the entire tuition fees of the selected students will be borne by the state government, along with this they will also be given a fellowship of ₹ 50,000 per month. During the course, the young students will also get practical experience of working on government projects in important areas like AI, cloud computing, data analytics, healthtech, edutech, revenue system and e-governance.

The state government has urged the youth to apply on the portal iiitnr.ac.in to take advantage of this golden opportunity.

Chief Minister Sai said that this program will not only give new heights to the technological landscape of the state, but will also prove to be a strong step towards establishing Chhattisgarh as a leading state in the digital age.
