Husband surrenders after killing wife at Piplani Police Station.
BHOPAL.: In the capital’s Piplani police station area, a man killed his own wife two days ago due to suspicion of her character. Immediately after the murder, he reached Piplani police station and surrendered. According to the police, Dilip Mehra lives in the labor colony and works as a photographer. He got married Chhaya Mehra about six years ago.
They also have a four-year-old daughter. Two and a half months ago, Chhaya ran away from home with her daughter after a dispute with her husband. That’s when Dilip started suspecting that she had run away due to a love affair with someone. A few days ago, she returned home with her daughter. On Sunday August 27 a dispute started between the two regarding this matter. After which the youth strangled his wife to death. At present, the police have registered a case of murder and started investigation.
