An Air India flight had to return to Delhi today due to a technical malfunction, interrupting its scheduled journey. Flight AI 887, en route from Delhi to Mumbai, experienced a technical problem shortly after takeoff, prompting the aircraft to make a safe return to Delhi airport. All passengers and crew members on board are reported to be safe.

Air India, responding to the incident, stated that passenger safety is paramount. According to reports, flight AI 887 had to return shortly after takeoff due to a technical malfunction. The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers and crew members are safe.

According to an Air India spokesperson, flight AI887 from Delhi to Mumbai on December 22nd was diverted back to Delhi airport shortly after takeoff due to a technical issue, in accordance with standard operating procedures. All passengers were deplaned and their safety was ensured. All passengers and crew members are safe.
