The Congress State Committee, all district, city and block committees have been dissolved with immediate effect. The party’s national general secretary KC Venugopal issued an order to dissolve the committee late Thursday night. Now, in view of the assembly elections, all the committees will be constituted afresh across the state.
After the Lok Sabha elections, a new strategy was made to expand the organisation in the state. A plan was made to expand the state executive and district executive. State President Ajay Rai also visited many districts.
Now all the committees will be constituted afresh here. All the six national secretaries and state presidents appointed in the state will visit the districts. They will identify the active leaders of the districts and assign them responsibility. Committees from state to block level will be prepared for the assembly elections. It is known that Ajay Rai became the state president on 17 August 2023 and announced the state executive on 25 November.

16 vice-presidents, 38 general secretaries and 76 secretaries were made in the state executive of UP Congress. About 67 percent of the office bearers were below 50 years of age. By implementing many announcements made in the Udaipur Chintan Shivir, more than 68 percent participation was given to backward and Dalits and minorities.
23 Dalit, 22 Muslim and 44 OBC category leaders were included in the state executive. 41 people including 12 Thakurs, 16 Brahmins, three Bhumihars got place in the general category.
