Amethi Murder Case : Accused Chandan was trying to escape by snatching the inspector’s pistol, police shot him in the right leg

Amethi Murder: Chandan Verma, accused of murdering Dalit teacher Sushil Kumar and his family in Amethi, had an encounter with the police.

Noida : This encounter took place in Mohanganj police station area. Giving information about this, ASP Harendra Kumar said that Chandan Verma was shot during the encounter. The accused has been taken to Tiloi CHC Hospital for treatment. Where he is undergoing treatment. Police have recovered a pistol, a bullet motorcycle and a cartridge from him. Further legal action is being taken in this case. Chandan is accused of killing four members of a family including teacher Sushil living in Ahorva Bhavani of Amethi.

UP STF arrested the accused Chandan Verma from Jewar toll plaza in Noida on Friday October 4 itself. Late in the evening, when the police was taking him to recover the weapon used in the murder of Sunil and his family, he tried to escape and was about to fire after snatching the pistol of the inspector. Then the police also opened fire in self-defense, in this encounter Chandan got shot in his right leg and he got injured.
