Akash Jindal, lawyer for Atul Subhash, said the bail plea of Nikita and her family was listed today. Atul had said in his suicide video that the child should not be allowed to be used as a tool to escape the judicial process. That is exactly what is being done now.
Bengaluru: A measure update is coming out in the Atul Subhash suicide case. In the case, Akash Jindal, the lawyer of software engineer Atul Subhash, has raised questions on the bail plea of the accused. He said that the accused wife Nikita should not be allowed to use the child as a weapon to get bail in the court. In fact, Atul had committed suicide alleging that his wife had demanded three crore rupees for the divorce settlement.
Akash said that the bail plea of Nikita and her family was listed today. Atul had said in his suicide video that the child should not be allowed to be used as a tool to avoid the judicial process. Now this is exactly what is being done. His lawyer has argued that we are seeking custody of the child behind his back, but it is not behind his back. The child’s mother and the entire family have been arrested, so there is no one to take care of the child.
Akash said that Nikita had absconded to avoid arrest. The police arrested her after a lot of effort. If she gets bail from the court, she will again try to abscond with the child. So our argument is that she should not be allowed to use the child as a tool to escape the judicial process. The next hearing will be on January 4.
Wife Nikita was caught from Gurugram and mother-brother from Prayagraj
In the Atul Subhash suicide case, the Bangalore Police arrested his wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law on December 15. The police had said that Atul Subhash’s wife Nikita Singhania was arrested from Gurugram in Haryana. Along with this, Nikita’s mother Nisha Singhania and brother Anurag Singhania were arrested from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.
What is the matter?
In fact, due to harassment by his wife and her family and 120 court dates in two years, despite not getting justice, 34-year-old IT professional Atul Subhash working in Bangalore embraced death. Considering suicide as the last option, Atul left behind a 24-page suicide note and a video of about one and a half hours before leaving the world, in which he exposed the flaws in the social fabric of married life, the tale of greed and conspiracy of his partner, and corruption in the legal department.
Marathahalli police had registered an FIR
In the case, Marathahalli police had registered an FIR under section 108 and 3(5) of the BNS against four people including Atul’s wife Nikita Singhania on the complaint of Atul’s brother Vikas Kumar. An FIR was registered against Nikita Singhania, her mother Nisha Singhania, brother Anurag Singhania and uncle Sushil Singhania. All of them were running away from the police.
