New Delhi: Before the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a major setback on Sunday November 17 , 2024 . Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Kailash Gehlot has resigned from the party. Kailash Gehlot has sent his resignation to the party’s national president Arvind Kejriwal. Gehlot has sent a letter to Kejriwal resigning from his post and the party.

In his resignation, he has raised the issue of cleaning the Yamuna and building a Sheeshmahal. Gehlot wrote in the letter that we had promised to clean the Yamuna in the last election, but the cleaning was not done, we could not fulfill our promise.
Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot has resigned from his ministerial post as well as the primary membership of ‘AAP’. Gehlot has written in the letter alleging that the honest politics due to which he had joined the Aam Aadmi Party is not happening now. He has also made several allegations, terming the government residence of party convener and former CM Arvind Kejriwal as ‘Sheeshmahal’.
According to news agency ANI, Delhi minister and AAP leader Kailash Gehlot has resigned from the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party. He has written a letter to the party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. The letter reads, “There are many embarrassing and strange controversies like Sheeshmahal, which are now making everyone doubt whether we still believe in being aam aadmi… It is now clear that there can be no real progress for Delhi if the Delhi government spends most of its time fighting the Centre. I have no option left but to part ways with AAP and hence I am resigning from the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party.
