Third meeting of the Governing Body of Chhattisgarh CAMPA concluded under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai
Raipur: The third meeting of the Governing Body of Chhattisgarh CAMPA ( Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority) was held on Monday June 16, 2025 in Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Sai directed that the CAMPA funds should be used properly as per rules. He also provided necessary guidelines while doing a detailed review of the works conducted under CAMPA in the meeting.
Chief Minister Sai said that 44 percent of the land area of Chhattisgarh state is covered with forests. There is abundant forest wealth available in our state. Chhattisgarh ranks tenth in the country in terms of geographical area, while in terms of forest area…
