CG Naxalite Encounter: 20 Naxalites killed in the encounter so far, CM Sai said- Red terror will end by 2026

CG Encounter News: There is news of 20 Naxalites being killed in the Gariaband encounter. At present, there is no official confirmation. The number of Naxalites killed may increase further. The bodies of 15 Naxalites have been recovered.

So far 16 Naxalites have been officially killed in the encounter between security forces and Naxalites in Gariaband. Security forces got a big success in the encounter. The encounter is still going on. The number of Naxalites killed may increase further. Earlier, security forces had killed 18 Naxalites in Bijapur. The bodies and weapons of all the killed Naxalites have been recovered. Intermittent firing is going on from Sunday morning to Tuesday morning.

A total of more than one thousand soldiers have surrounded more than 60 Naxalites from all sides in Bhalu Diggi forest located in Kulhadi Ghat of Gariaband district. This case is being told of Mainpur police station area. A soldier of CRPF’s Cobra unit has also been injured in the encounter, who is being airlifted to Raipur. Earlier, two Naxalites were killed in the encounter on Sunday, while one soldier was also injured.

So far the bodies of 16 Naxalites have been recovered in the Gariaband encounter. AK 47, SLR, INSAS and other automatic weapons have been recovered. Search operation is going on. IG Raipur Zone Amresh Mishra has given this information.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai shared a post on X and wrote that more than 10 Naxalites are reported to have been killed in the encounter between security forces and Naxalites in Kulhadighat area under Mainpur police station of Gariaband district since Sunday night. Strengthening the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Honorable Union Home Minister Amit Shah to end Naxalism in the country and state by March 2026, the security forces are continuously achieving success and moving rapidly towards the target. This success of the soldiers is commendable. I salute their bravery. Under our double engine government, our Chhattisgarh will definitely be free from Naxalism by March 2026.

Naxal Jairam alias Chalpati, carrying a bounty of one crore, killed

Naxal Jairam alias Chalpati, carrying a bounty of one crore, has been killed in an encounter between security forces and Naxals in Gariaband. He is said to be a central committee member of Naxals. So far, bodies of more than 14 male and female Naxals have been recovered. Senior Maoist cadres are among the killed Naxals, who are being identified. Automatic weapons like SLR rifles have been recovered in the encounter. In the anti-Naxal search operation, a joint party of Gariaband Operation Group E30, Cobra 207, CRPF 65 and 211 Battalion, SOG Nuapada had left for Kulhadighat area.

Joint operation on Odisha-Chhattisgarh border

Security forces claim that many Naxal leaders carrying a bounty have been killed in this encounter. A joint operation was conducted by Chhattisgarh and Odisha forces, in which a total of 10 teams were involved. Three teams from Odisha, two from Chhattisgarh Police and five teams of CRPF were involved in this encounter. On receiving information about the encounter, senior officers of the force have reached Mainpur. The force has been deployed in the entire area. Apart from this, three IDs have also been recovered.
