In Chhattisgarh, people are troubled by heat and humidity due to reduced monsoon activities for the last few days, meanwhile a relief news has come out. Actually, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many districts of the state in the first week of September. At the same time, an orange alert for rain has been issued in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh in the next 24 hours. Apart from this, a yellow alert has been issued in Dantewada, Sukma and Narayanpur districts, where there is a possibility of thunderstorms along with lightings to moderate rain.
According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area has developed in the coastal areas of northern Andhra Pradesh and southern Odisha, the effect of which will be seen in many districts of Chhattisgarh. In such a situation, there is a possibility of increasing rain activity in the state in the next three to four days. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be cautious and stay in safe places, especially in those areas where there is a high risk of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
