Chhattisgarh government announces to give Rs 50 lakh to NSS for service work

Raipur :. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today on Monday September 22 attended the program organised on the foundation day of National Service Scheme (NSS) in the capital. On this occasion, he announced to give Rs 50 lakh to NSS for service work.

Expressed grief over the lightning incident
The news of death of 8 people including 5 school children due to lightning in Joratarai village of Rajnandgaon district is very sad. Instructions have been given to provide compensation of Rs. 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased in this tragic incident. The injured person has been taken to the hospital for immediate treatment. My condolences are with the families of the deceased. I pray to God for peace of the departed souls and speedy recovery of the injured person.
