Chhattisgarh: High Court stays the recruitment process in Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, accusing ignoring the rules

*Nonqualified candidates were included in the interview
Bilaspur: The Chhattisgarh: High Court has stayed the recruitment of professors in Atal Bihari Vajpayee University by bypassing the rules of UGC. A notice has been issued to the university in the matter and a reply has also been sought. In the petition, it has been said that ineligible candidates were allowed to appear for the interview by ignoring the UGC rules in the appointment.

Actually, Atal Bihari Vajpayee University has started the recruitment process for appointment to the post of Professor Cromers. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Shukla also applied for the recruitment. He has filed a petition in the High Court through his lawyer. It was told that UGC Regulation 2018 has been violated in the recruitment process. The university administration has erroneously verified the applications of candidates who do not have the qualification. Also, they have been declared eligible for the interview, which is against the rules.

According to the petition, if an applicant is from a private college or university, his academic approval will be valid only if he is appointed through under section 28 of UGC , but the university has included a professor from a private college in the recruitment process without any rule.
