The 2024 Chhattisgarh Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh will take place at the Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will be the Chief Guest . while Assembly speaker Dr. Raman Singh will preside over the samaroh . The Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai during the Chhattisgarh Rajya Khel Alankaran Samaroh: will reward the players with 97 awards and 502 medals and the winners will get the cash prize of worth Rs. 1 crore 36 lakh and 33 Thousand on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
The special guests of the program will be Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankram Verma. The samaroh will be organized by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department .
Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Industry Minister Lakhanlal Devangan, Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade, MLAs Rajesh Moonat, Purandar Mishra, Motilal Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Indrakumar Sahu, Guru Khuswant Saheb will be the special guests in the samaroh. In the program, the state government will honor 06 players for Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award for the year 2021-22, 06 for Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award, 02 for Veer Hanuman Singh Award, 11 for Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Samman, 05 for Shaheed Vinod Choubey Samman and 11 players for Chief Minister’s Trophy for the year 2021-22.
Similarly, for the year 2022-23, 04 players will be honored with trophies for Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Award, 07 for Shaheed Kaushal Yadav Award, 01 for Veer Hanuman Singh Award, 15 for Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Samman, 05 for Shaheed Vinod Choubey Samman and 24 selected players for Chief Minister’s Trophy for the year 2022-23. Sports department officials informed that for the award years 2021-22 and 2022-23, prize money of Rs 76 lakh will be given to 97 awardee players, Rs 60.33 lakh will be transferred to the bank accounts of 502 medal winning players, in this way, players will get Rs 01 crore 36 lakh 33 thousand.
