Raipur: Chhattisgarh is celebrating its silver jubilee year, marking the completion of 25 years of its establishment. On this occasion, the Chhattisgarh Housing Board is taking an important initiative to provide accessible and affordable housing to the people of the state. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and the direction of Housing and Environment Minister OP Choudhary, the Chhattisgarh Housing Board is organising a state-level housing fair from November 23 to 25, 2025, at the BTI Ground, Shankar Nagar, in Raipur.
Detailed information on residential and commercial properties across the state will be available on a single platform at this fair.
Additionally, special arrangements will be made, including spot booking facilities for housing projects, bank loan assistance, and attractive gifts for registrants.
During this period, the Housing Board will launch new housing projects worth approximately ₹2,000 crore in various districts of the state. Approximately 70 percent of the residential properties in these projects will be reserved for people from the lower income groups.
During the recently concluded Rajyotsav-2025, the Housing Board exhibited its various projects at the fair site in Nava Raipur, which received a strong response from citizens.
Thousands of visitors visited the Housing Board stall and showed keen interest in the properties. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai also visited the stall and praised the work of the Housing Board.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that this state-level housing fair, organised in the silver jubilee year of Chhattisgarh’s establishment, is a historic occasion for the people of the state. He stated that our government is committed to ensuring that every family has a permanent home. In this direction, the launch of new housing schemes worth approximately ₹2,000 crore and the launch of a new allottee portal are the beginning of a major transformation.
The Chief Minister said that the schemes offered by the Housing Board will prove extremely beneficial for the weaker sections of society. He commended the Housing Board for its transparent, public-friendly, and fast-paced approach, stating that this fair will significantly contribute to the realization of the pledge of “Housing for All.”
Housing and Environment Minister O.P. Choudhary affirmed that the Chhattisgarh government’s goal is to provide every family with a permanent home. This state-level housing fair, organised by the Chhattisgarh Housing Board, will prove to be a major step towards providing affordable housing to the people of the state.
He further said that our commitment is that every family should have a permanent roof by 2027.
Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Housing Board, Anurag Singh Deo, stated that the encouraging response received from the public at the Rajyotsav is a testament to the growing confidence in the Housing Board’s schemes.
Through the state-level housing fair, citizens of the state will be provided with information, application and booking facilities for all schemes on a single platform. He said that in the last two years, the Housing Board has launched several public welfare schemes, among which the One Time Settlement Scheme-2 is particularly noteworthy, under which permanent houses have been made available to the general public at affordable price by giving a discount of up to 30 percent on the building price.
This state-level housing fair of Chhattisgarh Housing Board will add a new chapter to the state’s housing development journey.
In the silver jubilee year of the establishment of Chhattisgarh, this event will prove to be a meaningful and historic initiative towards the goal of “Housing for All”.
