Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today on Tuesday May 19, 2026 extended a warm welcome and cordial reception to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who arrived in Bastar to attend the 26th meeting of the Central Zonal Council.
Chief Minister Sai honored him in accordance with Chhattisgarh’s traditional culture by presenting him with a ceremonial Gamcha (traditional scarf) of the state.
It is worth mentioning that the 26th meeting of the Central Zonal Council is being organised today in Bastar, under the chairmanship of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.
This significant meeting will feature comprehensive discussions on coordination among various states, development initiatives, and administrative matters.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held detailed deliberations on various contemporary issues, mutual coordination between states, and matters related to regional development.
The meeting also included discussions on good governance, the effective implementation of development schemes, and issues concerning the public interest.
