Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has paid tribute to the founder of Brahmo Samaj, social reformer, thinker, educationist Raja Ram Mohan Roy on his death anniversary on September 27. CM Sai has said that due to the efforts of Raja Ram Mohan Roy, the practices of Sati and child marriage were banned in the country.
He made many efforts to improve the condition of women in the society and protect their rights. He strongly opposed social evils and superstitions. Due to the social and religious reforms done in the country, he is called the pioneer of Indian Renaissance. His contribution will always be unforgettable, said CM .
Kumar has written mostly short stories and on human behavior that changed the day to day course of the people who engineered them. He says I am always myself... I just hate being someone else...It's so fake and unreal..."!!I have an everyday religion that works for me. Love yourself first, and everything else falls into line......
