Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visits the Chhattisgarh Pavilion at the International Trade Fair.

Handicrafts, forest products, and traditional arts attracted the attention of buyers from India and abroad.

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Pavilion was the center of attraction at the International Trade Fair held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on Monday November 24 , 2025 .

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited the Chhattisgarh Pavilion and inspected various stalls. Praising the products and innovations displayed at the pavilion, he said that Chhattisgarh is continuously establishing a strong presence on global trade platforms.

Chief Minister Sai said that Chhattisgarh’s traditional arts, handicrafts, forest-produce-based products, and traditional arts are making their mark in the global market. He said, “The growing demand for Chhattisgarhi products among buyers from India and abroad is strengthening the local economy and honoring our artisans. These are important steps towards our resolve for a ‘Self-reliant Chhattisgarh.'”

He commended the exhibitions of Kosa silk, metal crafts, Dhokra art, natural forest-based products, millet-based food products, and innovative models of micro-enterprises.

The Chief Minister appreciated the display of Bastar’s rich heritage and artifacts at the pavilion. While watching the documentary “Badalta Bastar (Aamcho Bastar)” broadcast on digital TV, he said that the documentary clearly depicts today’s new Bastar. Bastar has changed, and this documentary provides a vivid glimpse of that transformation. The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously strengthening various schemes and institutional support to promote tribal and rural products to national and international markets.

Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Lok Sabha MP Brijmohan Agrawal, Kamlesh Jangde, and other public representatives and officials were present on the occasion.
