Chhattisgarh made excellent arrangements within a month- Dr. K.K. Khandelwal
Raipur: Dr. K.K. Khandelwal, Chief National Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides, praised the arrangements made at the National Rover-Ranger Jamboree held in Dudhli village, Balod here on Saturday January 10, 2026 . He said that Chhattisgarh has set an example by making such excellent arrangements within a month.
He said, “I am extremely proud and happy to announce that the first Rover and Ranger Jamboree of India is being organized in Dudhli village, Balod. This is not just an event, but a national program of youth power. Rovers and Rangers, trainers, scouts, and volunteers from across the country are participating in this program. I have personally inspected the arrangements, adventure activities, food arrangements, toilets, and accommodation facilities for the participants. Discipline, security, and excellent arrangements are clearly visible at every level. I heartily congratulate the Chhattisgarh State Bharat Scouts and Guides.” Khandelwal added.
Dr. Khandelwal said that the inauguration of the Jamboree was beautifully organised. This is a historic jamboree.
It was inaugurated by the Governor of Chhattisgarh, Raman Deka. In his address, he praised the arrangements and commended the spirit of service and dedication of the Scouts and Guides.
Dr. Khandelwal said that Bharat Scouts and Guides has a history of exemplary service.
The task that normally takes two years was accomplished by Chhattisgarh in just one month. This dedication, discipline, and spirit of service are only found in true scouts, he said .
