Raipur: School children in Jashpur district will now study through smart classrooms. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the smart classrooms at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Kansabel on Sunday January 25, 2026 .

An amount of Rs. 5 crore has been sanctioned by SECL under its CSR fund for this project, under which 206 interactive panels will be installed in government schools in the district.

Chief Minister Sai said that making education interesting and effective through modern technology is the need of the hour, so that children in rural and remote areas can also have access to better educational resources similar to those in cities. He appreciated this initiative, saying that it will foster innovation, curiosity, and technical skills among students, which will lay a strong foundation for their bright future. Many public representatives, including MLA Gomati Sai, were present on the occasion.

Officials informed that under the MoU, interactive panels will be installed in selected government schools of Jashpur district in a phased manner. Through these devices, teachers will be able to make classes more interesting, simple, and effective by using digital content, videos, presentations, and e-learning resources.

This initiative will provide hundreds of students in the district with better access to quality digital education.

It is noteworthy that, at the initiative of the Chief Minister, a tripartite MoU was signed last month between the district administration, SECL, and EduCIL to provide quality and modern educational facilities in government schools of Jashpur district.
