Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic cloudburst incident in the Dharali region of Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand. He described the event as “deeply distressing and heart-wrenching -Photo File

Chhattisgarh Stands with Uttarakhand and the Affected Families in This Hour of Crisis – CM Sai

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic cloudburst incident in the Dharali region of Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand on Wednesday August 6, 2025 . He described the event as “deeply distressing and heart-wrenching.”

“I pray to Lord Badri Vishal for the safety and well-being of all those affected by this natural calamity,” CM Sai said.

The Chief Minister added that under the guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the close monitoring of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, rescue and relief operations by state and central agencies are being carried out with utmost urgency and dedication. As a result, hundreds of lives have already been saved.

CM Vishnu Deo Sai affirmed that the Government of Chhattisgarh stands firmly with the Government of Uttarakhand and the affected citizens in this difficult time.
