A major accident took place in Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh on Thursday Januar9, 2025 afternoon. Many workers were buried in a chimney of a steel plant here when it collapsed. The administration is busy in removing the buried workers. Two workers were taken out from there in injured condition and admitted to the hospital.

CM Vishnudev Sai expressed grief over the incident, asks officials for speedy rescue operation .

Raipur : CM Vishnu Deo Sai said, ” I am shocked after knowing about the news of industrial incident in the smelters plant located in Rambod village of Mungeli district. As soon as the information of the incident was received, necessary instructions have been given to the higher officials for relief and rescue work. Relief and rescue work is going on at the spot on a war footing. I pray to God for the safety of the workers buried in the debris and the speedy recovery of the injured” CM pleaded.
