Raipur: CM Vishnu Deo Sai is all set to inaugurate the military exhibition festival. The two-day armed military festival will witness a series of spectacular displays and thrilling demonstrations. These include slithering demonstrations by special forces commandos, bike show and horse riding demonstration. Modern weapons and equipment including T-90 Bhishma tank, BMP Two, infantry combat vehicle, Strela 10M army air defense missile system, ZU 23 gun and 105 mm light field gun of artillery will also be displayed for public viewing from 9 am to 4 pm.
Apart from this, there will be captivating performances of Khukhri dance by the military pipe and brass bands of Grenadiers, Signal and Gorkha Training Centres and the cultural contingent of the elite Gorkha Regiment. During the event, information centres will be set up by Army Recruitment Office Raipur and NCC Group Headquarters Chhattisgarh for the youth to join the armed forces.
