CM Sai Invited to Participate in Bastar Dussehra Celebrations

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday September 10, 2025 received a formal invitation to attend the world-famous Bastar Dussehra Festival 2025. The invitation was extended during a courtesy call at the Chief Minister’s official residence in Raipur by a delegation of the Bastar Dussehra Committee, Jagdalpur, led by Bastar MP Mahesh Kashyap.

The delegation informed the Chief Minister that the 75-day-long festival, which begins on Hareli Amavasya and concludes on the 13th day of the bright fortnight of Ashwin, commenced this year on July 24 with the Patjatra Puja Vidhan. Upcoming major events include Kachan Gadi Puja on September 21, Bel Puja on September 29, and Muria Darbar on October 4.

CM Sai expressed his gratitude to the delegation for the invitation and extended his best wishes for the successful organisation of the historic and globally acclaimed festival.
