Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, the “Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan 2024” will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on September 17, 2024 at the Indoor Stadium in Raipur. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Ministers, MLAs, dignitaries, secretaries of various departments, state and district administration officials will be present. This mission will focus on the theme “Swabhaav Swachhta-Sanskar Swachhta” from 17 September to 2 October, in which cleanliness will be considered the responsibility of every person in the society and an efforts will be made to make it a part of their nature and culture.
Safety kits will be provided to the Swachhatagrahi groups working in rural areas in the inaugural ceremony. A poster produced by the State Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) for the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign will be unveiled.
Along with this, the oath of cleanliness will be taken. After the inauguration ceremony, focus will be kept on 3 main pillars under ‘Swabhaav Swachhta-Sanskar Swachhta’ in the rural areas of the state. The aim is to ensure maximum public participation in various activities under the Swachhta Abhiyan , garbage and unclean places will be cleaned through shramdaan and transformed in such a way that there is no dirt there again. Under the Safai Mitra Suraksha Camp, the health check-up of the cleaning staff, their felicitation ceremony and providing them the benefits of government schemes will be a priority . The Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyan, this campaign of ‘Swabhaav Swachhta-Sanskar Swachhta’ will be completed on 2 October 2024 on Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary ‘Swachh Bharat Diwas’.
