Growing Confidence in the Policy of Good Governance and Development: The Dream of a Naxal-Free Bastar is Rapidly Becoming a Reality – Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that as a result of the state government’s effective rehabilitation policy, the continuous action of security forces, and the expansion of development works, the dream of a Naxal-Free Bastar is rapidly becoming a reality, and the shape of a developed Chhattisgarh is clearly taking shape.

Chief Minister said that 15 armed Maoists active in the border areas of Mahasamund district today decided to abandon the path of violence and return to mainstream society.

Expressing faith in democracy, they have embraced the path of security, development, and a peaceful life. The surrendered Naxalites include 9 women and 6 men, who carried a total bounty of ₹7.3 million (7.3 million rupees).

Their surrender, along with their weapons, is proof that the misguided youth are now gaining confidence in the policy of good governance, security, and development.

Chief Minister Sai stated that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, decisive steps are being taken towards eradicating Naxalism in the country, he added.

He stated that our government, in coordination with the central government, is rapidly expanding security, infrastructure, education, health, and livelihood opportunities in Naxal-affected areas, CM Sai noted.

Chief Minister Sai stated that the state government’s unwavering resolve is to build a developed and secure Chhattisgarh with a fear-free environment, where every citizen can live with dignity and opportunity. He welcomed all the youth who have returned to the mainstream and wished them a bright future, Sai affirmed.
